Behind the music is a story — the story is the makings for a Rockumentary! Justin Ploof and The Throwbacks are the original authors of the Rockumentary, who along with performing the music of some of history’s greats, bring you vintage footage and brief narration to accompany it. Not only will you “rock out” to the music, but you will have a number of “I didn’t know that” moments throughout the evening – a complete “blast from the past” concert experience!
The core group, Justin Ploof, Jason Ploof, and Dan Ploof have a multitude of years of professional music experience and have shared the stage with the likes of Soul Asylum, Bobby Vee, Joan Jett, Jessie Lang and the list goes on! Their incredible attention to detail and quality of musicianship will wow you from the first chord right on through to the rousing end. As they work to emulate the songs you love, you will be pleased to hear them the way the artists meant for them to be performed. Guest appearances will enhance the shows to the ultimate level of entertainment!

While the landmark Tapestry album earned her superstar status, singer/songwriter Carole King had already firmly established herself as one of pop music’s most gifted and successful composers, with work recorded by everyone from The Beatles to Aretha Franklin. In a career that has now spanned nearly six decades, Kings musical resume and milestones boast an impressive 14 Grammy wins and nominations as well as countless tributes. In 2000, Billboard Magazine would name her the most successful female songwriter of the 20th Century, both in the U.S. and the United Kingdom, due to her writing or co-writing 118 pop hits on the Billboard Hot 100. King has made 25 solo albums, with record sales estimated at more than 75 million copies worldwide. She would be both inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame for her songwriting.
