A TRADITION TO EXCELLENCE

Pioneer Place on Fifth officially debuted its professional season on September 10, 1999 with Actors Theater of Minnesota's touring production of The Compleat Wrks of Wllm Shkspr (Abridged). Since that first production, more than 70 original productions have played our stage from over 20 different production companies. Over 300 actors have graced our stage, along with two dogs and one bird, numerous children, several ghosts, and nearly 600 performance dates have occurred.  The theatre was founded by brothers Mark and Dan Barth, who continue to operate the theatre to this day.  Their professional season runs September - May each year with a wide variety of drama, comedy, classics, original works, and musicals.
